Founded in 2024, Spectre AI Systems (SAIS) began as an early-stage GPT-powered legal technology venture, developed to help legal professionals work more efficiently.

Throughout 2025, SAIS expanded beyond the legal sector, transforming workflows across a variety of businesses. However, as artificial intelligence advanced at an unprecedented pace, the goalposts continued to shift. By June 2026, the business could no longer sustainably keep pace with the rapidly evolving industry.

In September 2026, the remaining assets, data and personnel of Spectre AI Systems were reorganised under the banner of Firefly Media Group (FMG).

Curiata extends its sincere gratitude to the team at SAIS for their dedication, ingenuity and unwavering commitment to the company's vision. Many of those who helped build Spectre AI Systems continue to contribute to the success of Firefly Media Group today.

It is through their hard work, sacrifices and technical brilliance that the foundations of FMG's data-driven future were laid.

Though Spectre AI Systems has ceased operations, its legacy endures in the technologies, principles and people that continue to shape Firefly Media Group.
